What are memory fold curtains?
Memory fold is a process in which curtains are shaped by a specific machine at a high temperature. This process creates evenly spaced waves. Even after washing (two times maximum), this treatment keeps the curtains looking neat and elegant for a long time.
What’s different from normal curtains and memory fold curtains?
Ordinary curtains are ironed before leaving the factory to keep the fabric smooth. But, once the curtains are hung up, they will develop random waves due to daily pulling, making it impossible to maintain a uniform curve.
Memory fold curtains’ folds are evenly spaced, even when people pull and use everyday. The external forces cannot easily change the waves of the curtains.
What are the benefits?
First is good-looking. Memory fold curtain offers consistent, luxurious folds that do not become flat or uneven. It improves drape, making curtains look fuller and more elegant. It can enhance the overall atmosphere and quality of your home.
Second, the memory fold is easy to maintain. Customers do not need to iron fabric frequently. Furthermore, it has a better appearance after washing, as the pleats tend to return to their original shape. But please note that the memory fold can maintain its shape after a maximum of two washes, after that, they need to be reshaped.

How to maintain?
Wash only when necessary
Do not wash memory foam blinds frequently. If washing is necessary, machine wash in cold water and note that tumble drying is not recommended. We recommend washing once every 12 months. After two washes, the blinds may lose their shape, which is normal.
Avoid ironing directly on the pleats
High-temperature ironing may cause memory folds to lose their effect. If you must iron them, please use a low temperature and iron only the flat parts of the fabric. Avoid ironing the heat-set folds directly to prevent them from deforming.
Rehang them immediately
Once washed, please hang the memory fold curtains back on the track or rod as soon as possible. Gravity helps the fabric settle naturally into its memory folds.
What to do if the folds become less defined?
After several years or repeated washing, the folds of memory fold curtains may soften and wrinkle. In most cases, the curtains can be reprocessed through a high-temperature shaping machine, which restores the original, uniform pleats without replacing the curtains.
